Kyle Cotchett

Kyle Cotchett is an experienced environmental planner currently employed at Facet since May 2024. Previously, Kyle held positions at the City of Kirkland as an Associate Planner and Planner from October 2019 to July 2023, and worked as an Assistant Planner at the City of Tukwila from January 2019 to October 2019. Earlier experience includes a Planning Internship at the City of Kirkland in 2018, as well as a Research Internship at 2020 Communications Trust, where Kyle focused on expanding educational efforts in Auckland, New Zealand. Kyle also interned for Rep. Jackie Speier in the U.S. House of Representatives, where responsibilities included research and drafting correspondence on environmental issues. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Environmental Studies from Loyola Marymount University.
