Brooke Sweeney

Brooke Sweeney is a Controller at Facet. Brooke has been with the company since December 2018 and in their current role, they handle the creation of all invoices, collections, processed payments, runs bi-weekly payroll and handles all day-to-day, month-end, and year-end financial matters.

Prior to joining Facet, Brooke was an Event Coordinator with Independent. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating all aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and more. Brooke also established best practices to streamline, simplify and automate financial procedures for muli-million dollar startup.

Since joining Facet, Brooke has built an end-to-end reporting system to track monthly metrics including annual cash forecast. Brooke has also led the implementation and integration of systems to invoice, track and collect monthly billings totalling $600,000 to $1,000,000. In addition, they have streamlined the payment process for vendors totaling over $500,000 monthly.

Looking ahead, Brooke has created a sophisticated financial forecast model to track the company’s current and future financial performance. Brooke is also responsible for preparing the company’s budget and providing detailed analysis of spending variances. As part of their closing procedures, Brooke conducts month and year-end closing procedures; and reconciles all accounts. Brooke Sweeney began their educational career at Ensign College, where they earned an Associate's degree in Accounting. Brooke then transferred to Brigham Young University and earned a Bachelor's degree.
