Transforming Organizations, One Meeting at a Time

For over 30 years, Facilitation First has been Canada’s trusted partner in elevating how organizations meet, collaborate, and lead. What began as a boutique consultancy focused on expertly facilitating high-stakes, results-oriented meetings has grown into the go-to provider for facilitation training and services across North America.

We believe that meetings — when well-designed and skillfully led — are powerful catalysts for clarity, alignment, innovation, and action. That’s why we equip leaders, managers, teams, and facilitators with the skills to make every meeting count.

What We Offer?

Our flagship workshop, Facilitating Meetings With Ease, is the cornerstone of our training offerings. It provides practical, hands-on strategies to help professionals design and lead meetings that are focused, inclusive, and results-driven. Ideal for anyone responsible for running meetings, it builds the foundational skills needed to facilitate with confidence and clarity.

In addition to this core program, we offer a full suite of workshops tailored to a range of facilitation needs. The Facilitative Trainer empowers educators and subject matter experts to engage learners through participatory techniques. The Facilitative Chair equips board and committee leaders with tools to guide inclusive and accountable governance meetings. For those with more experience, our Advanced Facilitation courses deepen expertise in managing complex dynamics and driving group decision-making. Our Facilitative Leadership Certificate Program brings all of this together into a comprehensive, multi-session journey for those seeking mastery.

All workshops are available as customized in-house experiences and delivered by seasoned facilitators with real-world expertise.
