Murphy O'Dea, PhD, PE, CEM, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering, HVAC, and controls system commissioning. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Facility Dynamics Engineering, Corp. since December 2008, Murphy O'Dea also conducts research as an Academic Researcher at Oakland University. Previous roles include Supervising Engineer and Supervisor of Building Automation System Engineering at DaimlerChrysler, and significant positions at Johnson Controls, Barton Malow Company, and Pan Am World Services. A veteran of the US Air Force, Murphy O'Dea holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University, an MSME from the University of Central Florida, and a BSME from Michigan Technological University.
