Awais Rafique

Awais Rafique is an experienced Software Architect currently working at Facit Data Systems since February 2020, focusing on multi-camera object tracking and custom model training. Previously, Awais held the position of Senior Software Engineer, implementing various solutions such as people counting, occupancy, queue management, heat mapping, and gender recognition. From January 2015 to 2020, Awais served as Lead Product Engineer at Web Solutions Plus (SMC-PVT) LTD, overseeing the development of applications for server and embedded hardware, with a strong emphasis on image processing algorithms for business analytics. Awais began the career as a Software Developer for the Pakistan Air Force, redesigning critical systems and enhancing live monitoring capabilities. An internship at Borjan Pvt (Ltd) involved maintenance and support of application and database servers. Awais holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (2013-2016) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems Engineering from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (2008-2012).
