Factor6 Consulting (Pty) Ltd, an EME (Exempted Micro Enterprise) and B-BBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) level one (1) contributor, with a 135% procurement recognition, was established in 2019 with the intent of providing professional services to the built environment, and in-turn add value to clients and industry colleagues through successfully completed projects.

Our core business functions and service offerings are quantity surveying, project management and principal agency. The founding partners have 21 years combined consultancy experience spanning across the residential, commercial, education, retail, hotel, healthcare, oil and gas and industrial sectors.

Our business is driven by the directive to mitigate uncertainty and create transparency within construction cost. This is achieved through accuracy and efficiency in our processes by incorporating the latest software available – ‘DimensionX’ for direct digital measurement of CAD, PDF & Revit drawings and ‘WinQS’ for estimate/bills of quantities production, valuation of monthly progress certificates and escalation adjustments.

We incorporate Merkels to ensure that we have the latest costing available based on current market prices, which facilitates accurate internal costing and tender evaluations.
