Lucas Bertolini

Lucas Bertolini has had a varied career in software development and data engineering. In 2009, they were a System Manager at Sonlas J.A, where they won three awards for best documentation, best advertising campaign, and best corporate social responsibility campaign. In 2008, they were a Costs and Budgets at Schoolar cooperative "Experiencia Joven". From 2012 to 2014, they were a Freelance Software Developer at CABL y Asociados SRL, where they developed WinForms and WebForms applications, as well as web development. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Software Developer at TISA Software LLC, where they were involved in web development and used English as the common language. From 2019 to 2020, they were an Analista Programador at Emerix, where they offered solutions for debt management. From 2020 to 2022, they were a Senior Data Engineer at Reba, where they developed a data warehouse and implemented Apache Airflow 1. Currently, they are a Data Engineer at Factored, where they are implementing ETL data pipelines to feed data warehouses and designing and implementing a data extraction pipeline from both RDS and S3 for an AWS Redshift dimensional model.

Lucas Bertolini has a comprehensive educational background. Lucas completed their secondary education in 2009 from the Escuela de Enseñanza Media Particular Autorizada N° 3079 “ICES”. In 2010, they obtained their degree in Analista en sistemas from the Instituto Cooperativo de Enseñanza Superior. Lucas then went on to earn a Software engineering degree from the Universidad Católica de Santiago del Estero in 2016. Currently, Lucas is pursuing their Maestría en Explotación de Datos y Descubrimiento del conocimiento from the University of Buenos Aires, which they are expected to complete in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Lucas has obtained various certifications, such as the Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals from Astronomer in July 2022, AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2022, Fundamentos de la gestión del tiempo, Fundamentos de la productividad, and Fundamentos del teletrabajo from LinkedIn in April 2020, MCSD: App Builder – Certified 2020, Exam 480: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3, Exam 486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications, and MCSA: Web Applications - Certified 2020 from Microsoft in February 2020, FCE from Cambridge English Language Assessment in December 2013, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2022.
