John Costigan

John Costigan is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial data and software industry, currently serving as Chief Data Officer and Chief Content Officer at FactSet since 2007. In these roles, John focuses on developing and implementing formal content strategies while overseeing the entire content development process. Prior to this, John held the position of Senior Director, Head of Global Market Data, where responsibilities included managing Real Time Pricing, News, Research, and Filings businesses. John's earlier career included significant roles at Thomson Financial, where leadership involved global product development across multiple teams and a $20M budget, as well as focused initiatives in the Institutional Equities market. John's career began in various sales and account management positions, demonstrating a strong foundation in business development and client relations. John is an alumnus of Saint Michael's College.
