Dr Richard E. Daws

Dr. Richard E. Daws is a data scientist with extensive experience in the fields of computer vision, medical imaging, and statistical analysis. Currently a faculty member, Dr. Daws previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Novai, where responsibilities included translating commercial objectives into development roadmaps. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral role at King's College London, managing a research team and delivering outcomes for a significant investment from Boehringer Ingelheim. Academic background includes a PhD in Computational Cognitive Neuroscience from Imperial College London, supported by a Master of Research in Neurotechnology and a Master of Science in Neuroimaging. Dr. Daws has contributed to various research projects, including predicting Huntington's disease and exploring the relationship between human intelligence and religion.
