James Yanks has a diverse work experience in various sales roles. James started their career at IBM in 2002 as a WebSphere Sales Executive, where they developed and led sales efforts for middleware software products.
James then moved on to Information Builders in 2004 as an Enterprise Software Sales Executive, where they successfully grew a new business territory and closed significant deals, including a $2M data warehousing project in the reinsurance industry.
In 2007, James joined IBM again as a Key Account Software Client Executive, where they excelled in sales and developed innovative strategies to achieve business objectives. James quintupled revenue for IBM's largest Big Data client and managed a $20M annual revenue business.
After working at IBM, James joined Avid Technology as a Global Account Executive, where they increased annual revenue from Avid's largest client, NBCUniversal, by over twenty percent. James led initiatives to displace a competitor and implemented Avid's Media Asset Management solution across all of NBC's Sports divisions.
James then joined JMT Consulting Group in 2018 as an Enterprise Sales Executive, where they helped deliver finance and productivity solutions to non-profit organizations.
Most recently, James worked at FADEL as the Director of Sales, responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to support business growth and achieve sales goals. James identified areas for improvement across all aspects of the business.
Additionally, James served on the Board of Directors for the Blue Butterfly Foundation since 2016.
James Yanks holds a degree in Political Science from Penn State University. James has also obtained a certification in Entrepreneurship Foundations from Lynda.com in March 2018.
