Mahmoud Warde, CHFE, has a strong and diverse background in hotel engineering and management. Mahmoud currently serves as the District Director of Engineering at Faena since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Building Manager at The Trump Group from April 2021 to April 2022.

From January 2015 to April 2021, Mahmoud Warde held the position of Director of Engineering at Swire Hotels. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the development of various hotel units, service apartments, meeting spaces, and restaurants. Mahmoud also played a key role in the development of efficient mechanical and plumbing systems for the Brickell City Centre project.

Before joining Swire Hotels, Mahmoud Warde worked as the Director of Facilities at Canyon Ranch from March 2011 to December 2014. Here, they managed engineering operations for a luxury mixed-use hotel, residential resort, and spa. Mahmoud also had project management responsibilities for critical projects.

Prior to Canyon Ranch, Mahmoud Warde gained experience as an Assistant Director of Engineering at One Bal Harbor Resort from December 2007 to March 2011. Mahmoud was involved in creating and implementing hotel engineering standards during the resort's opening phase. Mahmoud also provided technical support, supervised maintenance activities, and developed O&M plans.

Earlier in their career, Mahmoud Warde served as a Chief Engineer at The Regent South Beach from August 2006 to December 2007 and at Doubletree Hotel at the Grand from January 2000 to August 2006.

Mahmoud Warde has a diverse education history. Mahmoud obtained a diploma in Electronics from Siblin National from 1989 to 1991. Following this, they attended Broward College from 1999 to 2001, where they pursued Business Administration. In 2013, Mahmoud enrolled in the American Hotel & Lodging Institute to earn the certification of Certified Hospitality Facilities Executive. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications in Construction Industry Safety and Three Tips for Managing Egos and Difficult Emotions from LinkedIn in July 2021.
