Julius Nelson

Julius Nelson has extensive work experience in the security field. Julius started as a Protection Specialist at Target in 2008 and worked there until 2013. Julius then joined Sports Authority as a Sr. Asset Protection Area Investigator for a few months before moving back to Target as a Sr. Asset Protection Specialist in 2014. In 2015, Julius transitioned to Faena, where they held various roles, including Security Officer, Lead Security Officer, Security Manager, and currently as the Complex Assistant Director of Security.

Julius Nelson has a diverse educational background. Julius obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Florida International University, where they studied from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Basic Law Enforcement Certificate at Miami Dade College in 2012. Julius also earned an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy/Therapist from Miami Dade College, attending from 2009 to 2011. Julius'shigh school education was completed at William H. Turner Technical Arts High School from 2004 to 2008, where they focused on Agriculture, Agriculture Operations, and Related Sciences.

In addition to their formal education, Julius has acquired several certifications. In 2012, they obtained the FDLE Swim Certification and Basic Law Enforcement certification from FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement). Later, in 2017, they achieved the Active Shooter Certification from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. More recently, in 2021, they obtained certifications in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED-BL from the American Red Cross, Hospitality Manager: Leadership from the American Hotel & Lodging Association, and Preventing Human Trafficking: Recognizing the Signs from ECPAT-USA. Julius'smost recent certification is the Crowd Management Certification, obtained in November 2022 from the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE FIRE MARSHALS.
