Alexandre Gurgel

Alexandre Gurgel, D.Sc., is a seasoned educator and public management expert with a Doctorate in Public Policies, Strategies, and Development from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). They hold a Master's in Administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) and are currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in "Modern Education: Methodologies, Trends, and Student Focus" at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS). Alexandre has held various significant positions, including Secretary of Education in Petrópolis and Subsecretary roles in both the State of Education and the State of Cities in Rio de Janeiro, while also serving as Vice-President of Education at FAETEC. As a researcher and professor at FGV, they have contributed to the field of competitiveness and innovation.
