Wayne Yuan

Wayne Yuan is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in platform engineering and cloud solutions across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Platform Engineering at Faethm since December 2021, Wayne focuses on leveraging AI to prepare the workforce for the future of work through a robust SaaS platform. Previously, Wayne held positions such as DevOps Lead and Engineering Manager for APAC at Mark43, where responsibilities included cloud platform development on Azure and AWS, and engineering leadership. At Commonwealth Bank, Wayne contributed significantly as a Lead Engineer in the CBA OneCloud initiative, specializing in infrastructure automation and hybrid cloud solutions. Other notable roles include Cloud Engineer at Amazon Web Services and Solutions Consultant at RIB Software SE, demonstrating a strong foundation in cloud technologies, DevSecOps practices, and engineering innovation. Wayne holds a PhD in Autonomous Systems and Advanced Control from UNSW, complemented by a Master's in Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and a Bachelor's in Engineering from Tongji University.
