Jon Walton

Jon Walton is a sustainability consultant for the agri-food sector with a specialized background in animal welfare science and organic livestock systems. They served as an Animal Welfare Project Communication Officer and Research Technician at the University of Bristol from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, Jon worked as a Standards Project Manager at the Soil Association. They then held the position of Livestock Consultant at ADAS from 2017 to 2022, before becoming a Senior Sustainability Programme Consultant at FAI in 2022. Jon earned a degree in Zoology from Durham University and completed a Master’s in Ecology and Management of the Natural Environment at the University of Bristol, graduating with distinction.
