Gary Breen

Gary Breen has a diverse work experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. Gary started their career as the Director of Tennis and Country Club Manager at Hyatt Hotels Corporation from September 1992 to October 1995. Gary then worked as a Senior Tourism Officer at South East Tourism from September 1997 to 2005, where they were responsible for product development, trade engagement, and marketing. Gary later joined Fáilte Ireland in January 2006 as the General Manager of the South East Region, overseeing its operations until September 2013. From September 2013 to March 2015, they served as the Head of Operations, responsible for destination development and promotion in the newly formed eastern region. Currently, Gary holds the position of Head of Visitor Engagement at Fáilte Ireland, leading a team and creating a comprehensive in-destination visitor servicing program.

Gary Breen pursued their education starting in 1988 at The University of Texas at Dallas, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled in IE Business School in 2006 and completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General in 2007.
