Simon Islam

Simon Islam has held a variety of roles in the IT industry since 2000. Simon began their career as a Project Manager at Velocity Global, where they managed a team of 35 developers, QA engineers, and architects. Simon then moved to Schlumberger as a Sr. IT Project Manager, followed by a role as a Project Manager and Business Analyst at the City of Houston. In 2013, they joined RBS Markets and International Banking as a Project Manager and Business Analyst, where they successfully delivered a high visibility project on time and on budget. In 2014, they took on roles at Fair Pattern as Managing Director and WorldQuant as IT Project Manager.

Simon Islam completed a Finance and Economics Certificate from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Marketing from Harvard University in 2017. Simon also holds a BS in Computer Science and Math from the University of Houston, which they obtained in 1999.
