April Johnson has over fifteen years of experience in art operations and strategic management, specializing in scalable business systems and complex project leadership. Currently, they run an independent consultancy that supports artist studios and foundations, fostering long-term relationships that enhance loyalty and growth. As the former Director of Business Development at UOVO, April managed strategies for over 2,000 clients, including museums and galleries, while gaining extensive market insight. April has lived and worked in both New York and London, and they hold a BA(hons) in Communication Criticism and Curation from Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London, along with ongoing studies at NYU School of Professional Studies.
