Mike Bowers

Mike Bowers is currently working as the Chief Architect at FairCom Corporation since September 2018, where they lead the technology and product strategy for the company. Previously, they served as the Principal Architect at LDS Church from May 2007 to September 2018, where they were responsible for the technology strategy in areas such as data integration, data governance, business intelligence, and database platforms. Mike was also an author at Apress from May 2006 to February 2007, where they wrote a book on CSS and HTML design patterns. Before that, they worked as the General Manager at Circle C Equipment from September 2004 to February 2006, providing vision, strategy, and direction for the company. Mike also worked as a Software Consultant at Freightliner from January 2000 to July 2004 and as a Technology Manager at Mitsubishi Silicon America from July 1996 to December 1999, where they designed software and infrastructure architectures and managed a team of developers.

Mike Bowers earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Composition from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 1981 to 1988. Later, they pursued a Masters and ABD PhD in Music Theory at Florida State University from 1987 to 1992.
