Matthew Becker

Matthew Becker is a Senior Regulatory & Product Counsel at Faire since May 2024, bringing extensive legal expertise from previous roles at Fenwick & West, where Matthew served as an Associate from October 2013 to April 2024. In this capacity, Matthew advised clients on commercial litigation and product counseling, specializing in copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, and complex commercial disputes across various industries, including internet, software, e-commerce, and life sciences. Matthew's legal journey includes a fellowship at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society, summer associate experience at Fenwick & West, and research assistant positions at the Berkman Center and Harvard Law School. Matthew holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA in Social Thought & Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, including a study abroad program at the University of Sussex in International Relations.
