Allison Barr is a professional with extensive experience in design, construction, and operations within the retail and interior design sectors. Currently, Allison serves as the Director of Development, Design and Construction and Director of Operations at Fairgrounds since May 2023, while also holding a position as a Board Member for Guelph Victors since October 2023. Prior to these roles, Allison worked at Freshii from October 2018 to May 2023 in various capacities including Manager of Design and Construction, Senior Design Associate / Project Manager, and Technical Store Designer / Project Manager. Earlier experience includes a Designer, Interiors role at FORREC from August 2017 to September 2018 and a Junior Interior Designer position at NewGround in 2014. Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Interior Design from Conestoga College (2013-2017) and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Guelph (2009-2012) and the University of Denver (2008-2009).
