Scott Backinoff has extensive experience in research and development within the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Research and Development at Peet's Coffee and Tea since March 2016, Scott also holds the position of Senior Director of R&D Innovation at fairlife, LLC, a role that focuses on value-added dairy across multiple platforms since October 2011. Prior roles include Director of New Product Development at Dean Foods and Senior Research Scientist at McCormick, among others. Scott's educational background includes an MBA from the University of San Francisco School of Management and a BS in Food Science from Cook College Rutgers University.
