Bennett Walker has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as a PeopleSoft Programmer Analyst at National Fuel Gas Company. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Senior PeopleSoft Developer at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where they supported PeopleTools and played a vital role in system development. In 2016, Bennett moved to Boston Children's Hospital as a Senior PeopleSoft Financials Application Specialist for a year. Starting in 2017, they returned to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as a Manager of PeopleSoft Applications. During their time there, Bennett managed a team and led successful PeopleTools upgrades. Currently, Bennett is the Director of Engineering at Fairmarkit, where they lead a global team in integrating Enterprise Resource Planning Systems and Procure-to-Pay platforms. Bennett has also implemented agile processes and oversaw the implementation of integration monitoring and customer toolsets.
Bennett Walker pursued higher education starting in 2001 at Pacific Lutheran University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science in 2005. Following this, from 2005 to 2007, they attended the University at Buffalo and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General.
In addition to their formal education, Bennett Walker has acquired two additional certifications. In November 2010, they obtained the PeopleTools 8 Application Developer Certified Expert certification from Oracle. More recently, in October 2022, they obtained the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services.
