Mohammad Asif

Mohammad Asif has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Mohammad is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Fairmatic since June 2023. Previously, they held the position of Lead Software Engineer at Ula from March 2021 to May 2023. In this role, they led engineering efforts to enable sustainable demand growth through intelligent platforms and was responsible for building and scaling a sophisticated catalog management system.

Before that, Mohammad worked at Myntra from July 2016 to March 2021. Mohammad served as a Technical Lead from October 2020 to March 2021, where they were involved in the re-architecture and overhaul of the DNS system. Mohammad also developed various tools such as Haproxy Client and DNS Management tool. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2018 to October 2020 and as a Software Engineer from July 2016 to March 2018.

Mohammad's professional journey began at Instamojo in May 2015, where they worked as an Engineering Intern. During their time there, they initiated and launched visual regression and functional testing tools, co-developed the referral system interface, and revamped the website experience and interface.

Mohammad Asif completed their Senior Secondary and Higher Secondary Schooling in the field of Computer Science at Kendriya Vidyalaya Hebbal in Bangalore from 2005 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, in September 2013, they obtained a certification in Design Thinking Action Lab from Stanford University. In April 2013, they also obtained a certification in RIO+20 INDIA PROGRAM from UNITED NATION CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. Lastly, in March 2018, they acquired a Machine Learning NanoDegree from Udacity.
