Andy Brown

Andy Brown is a Director with Fairmount Partners and co-leads the firm’s Consulting and Technology Services practice.

Andy is responsible for originating and executing middle-market investment banking transactions. He has over fifteen years of experience providing financial and strategic advisory services to growing middle-market companies. While his clients have come from a diverse range of industries, Andy focuses on the business services sector, specifically consulting and technology services (inclusive of staffing and related professional HR services), as well as outsourced healthcare and pharmaceutical services.

Notable recent transactions include advising ALKU in its minority recapitalization with WestView Capital; The Ascent Services Group in its sale to ACS Group (fka American Cybersystems); BioBridges in its sale to the Adecco Group (SWX:ADEN); Insight Workforce Solutions in its sale to Kelly Services (Nasdaq: KELYA, KELYB); Inspirage in its majority recapitalization with Riordan, Lewis & Haden Equity Partners; LeapFrog Systems in its sale to ASGN Incorporated (NYSE: ASGN); and Artech’s acquisition of the Talent and Technology Solutions business interest of CDI Corporation.

Andy has completed numerous cross-border transactions with clients and/or counterparties in England, Ireland, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, India and Canada. Mr. Brown has been a key member of deal teams that have executed 50+ transactions, representing more than $2.5 billion in aggregate value. Andy joined Fairmount as an analyst in October of 2005.
