Armando Barradas

Armando Barradas is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as President and Head of Region North America at FairWind since January 2023. Prior to this role, Armando held key positions at Siemens Gamesa from April 2017 to January 2023, including Director of Operations North America and Head & Managing Director of Latin America Service, overseeing the operation and maintenance of 137 wind farms across 13 countries with a total capacity of approximately 10,000 MW. Armando's extensive experience also includes a tenure at Siemens Energy, where responsibilities encompassed P&L management for all wind sites in Latin America and establishing operations across MesoAmerica, South America, and the Caribbean. Earlier career experience includes roles in project management and business development at Northern Power Systems. Armando holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Queretaro and completed further education at Harvard University between 2007 and 2009.
