Wolfgang Mueller

Wolfgang Mueller is a seasoned executive currently serving as Managing Director and Executive Vice President at Hitachi Energy since November 2024. Concurrently, Mueller is a member of the board of directors at FairWind and serves on the board of bringkids2schools. Prior executive roles include Senior Vice President at Hitachi, where responsibilities included being a Corporate Officer and General Manager for the Service Division, and earlier positions at Hitachi ABB Power Grids and ABB, overseeing global service initiatives and product management. Prior experiences also encompass leadership positions at GE Power Conversion, GE Power, and Alstom Power, where Mueller focused on service, product development, and operational excellence within the energy sector. Mueller holds a Dipl.Ing. in Aero Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University Braunschweig, obtained between 1988 and 1995.
