Timothy Hillner

Timothy Hillner has extensive experience in the field of technology and communications, particularly in the military and federal sectors. Their work experience includes serving as Chief Technology Officer at Fairwinds Technologies, where they specialized in customizing commercial technology for military applications and led development teams to several patents. Timothy also worked as a Wireless Technologies Consultant and Owner of Hillner Technologies, LLC, providing technology application and solutions development consultation for companies in the federal wireless and SATCOM markets. Prior to that, they were an Account Manager and Solutions Architect at Comtech Command & Control Technologies, where they developed solutions for the Department of Defense in various technology areas. Timothy also has experience in the US Army, serving as a Senior RF Systems Engineer - Team Lead and a Wireless Systems Engineer for various flagship communications development programs.

Timothy Hillner holds a Masters of Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Messiah University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. In terms of additional certifications, Timothy obtained the following: DAWIA Level I Program Management from Defense Acquisition University in January 2014, DAWIA Level II Systems Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering - Program Systems Engineering from Defense Acquisition University in November 2009, Defense (Army) Acquisition Corps Member in January 2009, DAWIA Level III Systems Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering - Systems Engineering from Defense Acquisition University in May 2006, and became an IEEE Member from IEEE in February 2000.
