Faith was raised in Houston, Texas.
She became the first female disc jockey (Bunny Taylor) on Houston’s Super Rock station KRBE in the late 1970's. Remarkable for two reasons-it was a male dominated field and she had no formal training in broadcasting: yet landed a job against seasoned veterans in America’s 4th largest market.

Several years later while living in Bakersfield, California Faith discovered her ability to paint. Initially working custom jobs in private homes, she went on to dominate the residential and commercial market as a muralist and fine artist. Remarkable for many reasons-one being she had no formal training in art!

Now, concentrating on canvases, Faith paints daily in Pasadena, California. Her affection for California is evident in her highly textured, rich surfaces she creates in mixed media. Combining her love for the tactile world along with her gift for abstraction…Faith is attracting attention for doing what comes naturally to her.

With each canvas, my intuition guides me to new creative depths. At the soul of each creation...the constant challenge of depth and color. Whether by methodically taking the painting through dimensions of downward steps from an upper surface... or through a simple shadow...the complexity or obscurity of a canvas' depth highly depends on the first several layers... the intensity, or silence of color. I am passionate about this journey of depth. It's reward is intrigue, strength, satisfaction and joy.
