Dries van Dongen

Dries van Dongen serves as the Vice President of Fire at Falck, leading the Fire division with a focus on enhancing fire safety services across various sectors, supported by a global team of 2,500 employees. Prior to this role, Dries held several key positions at APM Terminals, including CEO of APM Terminals Inland Services, where responsibility encompassed overseeing a significant revenue-generating business unit and leading a commercial transformation initiative. Dries' career also includes substantial roles at Maersk Line, where strategic development and operational efficiency of container terminals were priorities, as well as experience in customer operations and management within P&O Nedlloyd. Dries holds advanced certifications from prestigious institutions such as INSEAD and IMD, complemented by a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, specializing in Ports and Terminals.
