Mark Wood

Head of Digitalization at Falcon Group

Mark Wood is currently the Head of Digitalization at Falcon Group. Prior to this, they worked at Marco Polo Network from November 2017 to October 2020, where they were Executive - New Business & Account Delivery / Customer Success.

At Marco Polo Network, Mark was responsible for the strategic direction, governance, structure and management of the network in collaboration with banks, product & delivery teams. Mark successfully grew the network from 10 to 30+ banks / financial institutions.

Mark also helped create and build out the Professional Services team with the COO. Additionally, they built strong customer relationships and acted as trusted advisor & steering group member.

Mark was also responsible for fostering partner relationships, including Accenture on new and existing deals.

Mark Wood is a chartered accountant (ACA) with a degree in accounting and finance from Leeds Business School at Leeds Metropolitan University. Mark also has an executive coaching certification from SmartTribes Institute and a leadership/management certification from the University of Texas at Dallas. Mark also holds a Prince2 Practitioner certification in programme/project management. Wood's academic career began at King Henry VIII in Coventry, where they earned three A levels and nine GCSEs. Mark then attended Arnold Lodge Preparatory School in Royal Leamington Spa.
