Stephen Shang

Stephen Shang has a diverse work experience. Stephen is currently serving as the Treasurer and Chair of the Government Affairs Committee at the Modular Building Institute, where they have been a Board Member since 2019.

In 2003, they co-founded Falcon Structures and has been serving as the CEO. Falcon Structures specializes in repurposing shipping containers and providing portable storage containers and multi-story shipping container buildings.

Stephen also holds the position of Vice-Presiding Officer of the Texas Industrialized Building Code Council at the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation since 2022.

Stephen is a VP and Board Member of the SH130 Municipal Management District at SH130 MMD since 2020.

Previously, Stephen has been a Speaker at Camp Enterprise from 2011 to 2019, a Board Member at Thinkery from 2016 to 2018, and the Co-Chair of the Container Task Force at the Modular Building Institute from 2016 to 2018.
