Ben Dapkiewicz has had a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being the Head of Security Engineering at FalconX since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at BitGo as the VP of Engineering from July 2020 to May 2022, Director of Engineering from February 2020 to July 2020, and Engineering Manager from August 2018 to February 2020. Ben also served as the VP of Engineering at Forge from April 2017 to July 2018. Before joining Forge, Ben held the position of Senior Software Architect at Sutter Health - Palo Alto Medical Foundation from July 2016 to April 2017. Prior to that, Ben was the Director of Engineering at GlassLab, Inc. from April 2015 to October 2015, where they led a team of 6 engineers to develop GlassLabGames.org, a digital platform and marketplace for learning games. Ben also held various roles at GlassLab, including Senior Technology Lead from October 2014 to April 2015, Technology Lead from March 2013 to October 2014, and Junior Technologist from July 2012 to March 2013. Ben's early career includes positions as a Graduate Assistant at the Rochester Institute of Technology from September 2010 to May 2012, a Developer at the Rochester Institute of Technology from June 2010 to September 2010, a Lead Developer at Ratatoskr Entertainment from May 2008 to January 2009, and a Developer (Part-Time Coop) at Tiltfactor Lab from November 2007 to May 2008. Ben also gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Synergy Software Technologies from May 2007 to September 2007.
Ben Dapkiewicz earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Game Design and Development from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2010. Ben then went on to complete a Master of Science (MS) degree in Game Design and Development from the same institution in 2012.
