Jonathan Carter

Jonathan Carter is an accomplished information security professional currently serving as the Director of Information Security at FalconX, following a tenure as the Head of Infrastructure and Corporate Security at Figma. With extensive experience in leading security teams, Jonathan has held key positions at Square as Director of Security, overseeing security for a multitude of business products, and previously served as a Technical Lead for the OWASP Mobile Top Ten project. Additional roles include Senior Application Security Engineer at Lending Club, Technical Director at Arxan Technologies, and various leadership positions at both Pure Hacking and Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Jonathan holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
