Shea Gregg, MD has been a Trauma Surgeon at Hartford HealthCare since 2022. Prior to that, they were Chairman of the CT State Trauma Committee from 2016-2022. From 2015-2016, they were President/Founder of FallCall Solutions, LLC, a company founded by physicians that creates simplified communication solutions for elders and their caregivers on the world’s most popular wearable/mobile devices. From 2013-2015, they were Chief of the Section of Trauma, Burns, & Surgical Critical Care at Bridgeport Hospital, where they were a member of an outstanding team who cared for trauma, burn, and critically ill general surgery patients. From 2008-2013, they were an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Rhode Island Hospital.
Shea Gregg, MD, began their educational journey at Phillips Exeter Academy, where they graduated with Honors in 1994. Shea then attended Brandeis University, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in 1998. Following this, they attended Dartmouth/Brown Medical School Program, graduating with an MD in 2002. Shea then completed a General Surgery Residency Program at Yale-New Haven Hospital from 2002 to 2007. In 2007-2008, they completed a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Finally, they completed an Emerging Leaders in Healthcare Executive Education at the Yale School of Management from 2015 to 2017.
