Family Capital has been looking after families since 1993 — the same clients, the same team, the same principles. We built Benchmark Capital, partnered with Schroders, and kept the relationships that mattered most. The name changed. The commitment never did.

We're independent. Properly independent. Our investment portfolios have been independently constructed since 2008 and have consistently delivered top-quartile performance. We're proud of that — and we're happy to be benchmarked against anyone.

We're also, as far as we know, the only financial planning firm in the UK that builds all of its own technology in-house and doesn't license it to anyone else. The Wealth Portal, the mobile app, the compliance systems, the secure messaging — all ours, all built for our clients. One login. Your entire financial life in one place. We love building it. Our clients love using it.

Our partners hold Level 6 chartered qualifications and are qualified to manage investments directly — not just recommend them. They plan first and invest last. Eight connected aspects, considered together. It's an honour to do what we do — helping families think about wealth properly, not just where to put the money.

In an industry full of buzzwords, AI hype, and LinkedIn posts about "disrupting financial services," the things that actually matter haven't changed. People want to feel secure. They want their money to grow. They want to know their family is looked after. Everything else is just noise.

We'll leave the disrupting to someone else. We're too busy looking after people.
