Yash Daftary

Yash Daftary has had a varied work experience since 2013. Yash began their career as an Intern at Oxaliz Technologies. In 2017, they were a Summer Internship at ProcessMAP Corp. where they handled several deliverables including the creation of graphic design, recreating sell sheets, creating trade show estimates, programming and creating the animations for a trade show touchscreen as well as creating the pages for it, designing marketing infographics, and comparing the marketing styles to competition as well as social media research. In 2018, they were an Intern at Startupbootcamp Miami where they led an international search for candidates for the Startupbootcamp Scale Digital Health Miami and conducted B2B marketing to attract companies to participate. Yash also researched and wrote articles about the healthcare and startup ecosystem in the Miami area. In 2019, they were an Investment Analyst at Storm Ventures where they analyzed financial and performance information and assisted in due diligence on prospective investments. Yash also analyzed technology, industry, and market trends and synthesized information for industry reports. In 2020, they were a Summer Fellowship - Investment Analyst at MBX Capital where they analyzed financial/performance information and assisted in due diligence on prospective investments. Yash also met with several founders of life sciences focused companies for pitch meetings and due diligence calls. Additionally, they analyzed trends for different sectors and created industry reports along with investment memos for the industries. Since 2017, they have been a Research and Teaching Assistant at Sheth Leadership Academy- Jagdish Sheth- Kellstadt Chair of Marketing in Goizueta Business School. Yash's responsibilities include teaching assistant for their MBA Global Marketing class which entails grading assignments, creating presentations, holding office hours, and teaching material to members of the class. Yash also does research for many of Dr. Sheth’s presentations along with creating the presentations. In 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of FANBASIS INC. (www.fanbasis.com).

Yash Daftary attended Rutgers Preparatory School from 2013 to 2015, where they studied Business. Yash then attended American Heritage School from 2015 to 2017, graduating with a High School degree. Yash is currently in the process of completing their Undergraduate degree in Finance & Consulting at Emory University, which they began in 2017.
