Principal Engineer, SRE at Fandango

Shaun Chan has extensive work experience in the field of system engineering and site reliability engineering. Shaun started their career in 2000 at Vortex Creations as a System Engineer and Application Support. From 2003 to 2006, they worked at The Satorian Group, where they were responsible for web application installation, configuration, and support, as well as server systems and network installation and support. In 2006, they joined Earthlink as a System Analyst, where they handled application architecture and configuration, technical documentation, and last-level application support. Shaun also provided training to technical support engineers and coordinated with vendors, partners, and production operation groups. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at Tone Software as a Professional Services Engineer, focusing on corporate/datacenter network and system infrastructure maintenance and migration to virtual machines. Shaun also designed, integrated, and maintained AWS virtual private cloud environments. From 2013 to 2015, they were a System Engineer at M-GO: Movies & TV Everywhere!, and from 2015 to 2017, they held the same role at Ticketmaster. Since 2017, Shaun has been associated with Fandango, initially as a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer, then as a Staff Engineer, and currently as a Principal Engineer, SRE.

Shaun Chan obtained an Associate's degree in Information Technology-Computer Network Systems from ITT Technical Institute-West Covina in 2003. In 2011, they graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information System.
