Haris Hasan

Haris Hasan's work experience includes various leadership roles in engineering and technology companies. Haris is currently the Head of Engineering at FanKave, responsible for product definition, architecture design, coding, customer interactions, hiring, engineering management, and culture building.

Prior to that, Haris was the VP of Engineering at APIMatic.io, where they led a team of approximately 25 engineers. Haris'sfocus was on building organizational structures and processes to support the business needs in a predictable and scalable manner. Haris introduced agile and sprint-centric development cycles, implemented full-time product managers for different verticals, coached and groomed tech leads and engineering managers, and made strategic engineering hires.

Haris also held positions at Emumba, where they served as the Director of Engineering, overseeing multiple organizational units and playing a role as a manager of managers. Haris focused on increasing engineering capacity, improving engineering quality, and mentoring leaders. Additionally, they founded and led the data science vertical, building end-to-end data solutions and solving cutting-edge data engineering problems. Before that, they worked as a Senior Backend Engineer, responsible for the complete backend engineering of a healthcare product called PatientsWithPower.

Earlier in their career, Haris worked at Bentley Systems as a Software Engineer II. Haris designed and developed SDKs, desktop applications, and web services, eventually progressing to the role of tech lead.
