Albert Chen

Albert Chen is a Software Engineer at Fannie Mae since July 2025, following a progression of roles at the organization that included a Technology Internship and a Cybersecurity Internship. Prior to this, Chen served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, supporting courses in computer systems and cybersecurity from August 2022 to May 2025. Notable experience includes a Summer Research Internship at the National Security Agency, where research focused on machine learning techniques for network traffic analysis, and a Software Engineering Internship at the University of Maryland, where a neural network was developed to address Google's reCAPTCHA v3 challenges. Albert Chen holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, completing studies in 2025, and graduated from Poolesville High School in 2021.
