Don Schmidt

Don Schmidt, CISSP, is a cybersecurity leader who has nearly nine years of experience at Fannie Mae, where they serve as the Business Information Security Officer, focusing on integrating security, technology, and business operations. Prior to this role, Schmidt was the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at Fannie Mae, overseeing various aspects of information security architecture and operations. They also held positions in the United States Air Force as a Communications Officer and served as an assistant cross country coach at Briar Woods High School. Schmidt earned a Master's degree in Information Resource Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology.
