Melvin E. Key

Melvin E. Key, Sr. has extensive experience in security management, serving as a Security Contractor at Fannie Mae since 2004 and as the Director of Security at Embassy Suites Convention Center from September 2014 to January 2017. Melvin is the Chairman of the Society for International Executive Protection, which has grown to over 600 members since its informal founding in 2017. In January 2021, Melvin held the position of Head of Contract Security for the Biden-Harris Presidential Inauguration, coordinating with various law enforcement agencies for security measures. Melvin also serves as the CEO of MVP Protective Services, overseeing operations for over 150 employees, and has worked as an Executive Security Driving Instructor. Education includes a high school diploma from Oxon Hill High School, a degree in Police Executive Management from Penn State University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Strayer University.
