Sam Poole

Sam Poole is a seasoned cloud and DevOps architecture professional with extensive experience in leading cloud strategies and migrations. Currently serving as Principal at Fannie Mae since April 2020, Sam Poole is responsible for the architecture strategy and resolution of technical decisions ensuring alignment with enterprise and compliance requirements. Previously, as a Cloud Architect at Marriott International, Sam Poole managed the deployment of systems across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure. Earlier roles include Senior Lead Technologist at Booz Allen Hamilton, where Sam Poole oversaw government system migrations to AWS, and software development positions at various organizations, showcasing a strong foundation in software engineering and project management. Sam Poole holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University and an Associate's Degree from Northern Virginia Community College.
