Derek Martin

Derek Martin is a college professor at Fanshawe College, currently serving in the English Language Institute within the Faculty of Access, Language and Regional Campuses since January 2023. Prior to this role, Derek had a long tenure at CULTUREWORKS ESL from January 1998 to October 2022, where key positions included Director of North American Programs, Principal of the London campus, Student Support Coordinator, and Instructor. Academically, Derek is a PhD candidate in Intercultural Leadership in Education at Nipissing University and holds a Master of Arts in Language and Literacies Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Education from York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Toronto.
