Henry Otten

Henry Otten is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Since January 2012, Henry has served as a Professor of Accounting at Fanshawe College, specializing in management and financial accounting as well as corporate finance, utilizing the case method for experiential learning. Prior to academia, Henry founded Abilita Inc. and held the roles of Owner and VP Projects, where responsibilities included strategic communication, technology reviews, and project management of RFP processes. Henry's earlier career includes significant roles such as Territory Developer at Schooley Mitchell Telecom Consultants, VP Finance at Morphy Containers, and Entrepreneurial Services Manager at Price Waterhouse Coopers. Henry’s education includes a MAcc and BA in Chartered Accountancy Studies from the University of Waterloo, along with successful completion of the CA exam from CICA in 1988.
