Caroline Hilman

Caroline Hilman has extensive work experience in the field of design, spanning over a period of several years. Caroline is currently working as the Design Director at Fantasy. Prior to this, Caroline held the position of Associate Design Director at AKQA from June 2019 to June 2021, where they led teams and designed a wide range of interactive experiences for various clients, including IBM, Pfizer, and Google.

Before joining AKQA, Caroline worked as the Product Design Lead at Free Association from December 2018 to June 2019. Caroline also served as the Design Lead at Elephant from February 2017 to December 2018.

Caroline's career began at SOM (Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP) in May 2004, where they worked as a Graphic Designer until December 2008. Caroline then went on to hold positions as an Art Director at Viscira, Art Director / Creative Services Manager at Tata Communications, Interactive Art Director at HDMZ (HDM + Zoomedia), and Senior Art Director at Extractable.

In 2016, Caroline joined PointOne Digital as an Associate Creative Director, where they played a key role in launching the agency and building its design knowledge and identity. During their time at PointOne Digital, they worked with clients such as Merrill Corporation, Central 1 Credit Union, and Ecolab.

Throughout their career, Caroline has showcased their expertise in design across various industries, demonstrating their ability to create impactful and engaging experiences for their clients.

Caroline Hilman pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University. This educational journey spanned from 1999 to 2003.
