Ian Applegate

Ian Applegate's work experience includes being the Director of Production at Fantasy since 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of Production at rehab_agency from 2019 to 2022, where they managed delivery and project management for digital agency Rehab and worked with clients such as Nike, Google, and Facebook. Ian also worked as the Digital Director at Apothem Labs on a contract basis in 2019, where they focused on CBD products. In 2019, they were an Executive Producer at Stink Studios. From 2018 to 2019, Ian served as the Marketing Director for Cura Cannabis Solutions, a remote role based in the UK for a leading cannabis company in the US. Ian was a Senior Account Director at Archrival from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, Ian held various roles at AKQA from 2009 to 2017, including Account Director, Associate Production Director -Nike, and Senior Production Manager. Ian was also a Senior Digital Project Manager & Information Architect at Twentyfirst from 2008 to 2009. Earlier in their career, Ian was the Managing Director at Rad Apple LTD from 2007 to 2009, and the Owner of getatrowel.co.uk from 2006 to 2008.

Ian Applegate obtained their A Levels from Thorpe St Andrew between 1998 and 2000. Ian then pursued a BA in Politics from The University of Sheffield from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Ian Applegate obtained certifications in Information Research from Portland Community College in June 2020 and in DSDM Atern Qualified from DSDM CONSORTiUM.
