Carlos Graeff is a physicist currently serving as the director-president of the Technical-Administrative Council at FAPESP and as the president of the board of directors at the Advanced Institute for Artificial Intelligence. They are a researcher recognized as PQ 1A CNPq and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, as well as a member of the Academia de Ciências do Estado de São Paulo. Graeff has held various leadership roles in education and research, including positions at UNESP and CAPES, and has been an international academic contact at Sapienza Università di Roma since 2022.
