Far South Expeditions, a leading nature tour operator in Chile and Patagonia, is based in Punta Arenas, the capital of Chilean Patagonia. Founded in 1997, we specialize in high-quality birding, wildlife, and nature expeditions for small groups and individuals.

As Chile’s pioneering nature tour company with over 29 years of experience, we’ve surveyed and traveled extensively across the country. Before founding the company, we were avid birders, naturalists, and wildlife photographers who explored southern South America, seeking magical places and creatures. This experience shaped our current travel programs.
