Utku Simitli

Utku Simitli has a diverse work experience in the energy, environment, and engineering sectors. Utku is currently Co-founder & Head of Product at Faradai. Previously, they were Co-Founder & Head of Product at REENGEN, a company that digitizes and optimizes energy management in commercial buildings, industrial facilities and power plants with IoT and data analytics. Utku was also a Project Researcher at CEEE (Center for Energy, Environment and Economy) where they coordinated the demo site activities of the EU FP7 project to build the smartest building in the campus and developed a web-based decision support platform collecting large volumes of real-time data. Prior to that, they were a Project Engineer at BSH Home Appliances Group.

Utku Simitli obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science Engineering from Marmara University between 2005 and 2011. In 2009, they were an exchange student at Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Tarbes - ENIT, studying Mechanical Engineering. In 2013, they obtained a LEED AP BD+C certification from the United States Green Building Council.
